Executive Profile Mr. Ed Cowen President and CEO of TTD Enterprises Ed Cowen began TTD Enterprises on April 20 1994 in Carmel California. This was the date he became an authorized consultant for Great Plains Dynamics. As an authorized consultant rather than a ïselling VAR (Value Added Reseller)Í he was able to sub-contract with VARÍs in central California rather than competing with them. Mr Cowen differentiated himself from the pack as a MacIntosh specialist. In those days Great Plains (now known as Microsoft Business Solutions, Dynamics GP) also ran on the Mac platform. In this capacity, Mr Cowen assisted in implementation of Great Plains Dynamics across a wide spectrum of businesses. A macIntosh software publisher in Salinas. An almond grower in Waterford, a Pharmaceutical plumbing distributor in Dublin, a microchip manufacturing testing software publisher in the heart of Silicon Valley. Mr. Cowen earned a reputation for superior customer service as well as advocate of business best-practices cross-pollination. In 1997, Mr. Cowen moved to Chicagoland with his wife, Noriko. Here he implemented Great Plains with a large Chicagoland VAR for 8 years. During this period, he groomed his business acumen as well as his customer service attributes. In December, 2005, Mr. Cowen revitalized the hibernating TTD Enterprises. He recognized the vast market segment of Small to Medium businesses in the Midwest suffering with poor service and resources as an under utilized opportunity for business growth. Mr. Cowen is keenly aware of the entrepreneurial spirit as a basis of American life. Microsoft Certifications held by Mr. Cowen include:
