Server Move and GP Updates

Recently while performing server move and update from 16.00.0864 to 18.8.1919 I found the largest .bak file >12GB, Windows reported file moved to new server no problem. However, upon running Utilities for 18.8.1919, I received a bunch of errors. Really ugly ones. Started a case with GP Tech support, we would fix the error, run Utilities again, different error. Ugh.

The fix is to use a compression utility (I use WinRAR). WinRAR has an option to create a Self-extracting Archive. Move the archives to the new server and click on the first partition that has the .exe for the Self Extracting Archive, need the checksum to make sure everything is there

Restore the .bak into the new environment and ran Utilities. No problems!
